Lowell Arizona is like stepping back in time to the 1950’s, abandoned buildings, old cars, motorbikes, anything 50’s - it’s like a walking outdoor museum where you half expect Fonzie to walk around the corner. Lowell is right next door to the famous old mining town of Bisbee with all of its many stairs and classic old architecture from the early 1900’s.
I consider myself to be somewhat of a generalist as a photographer. In fact, Walkabout, probably best describes my style as I wonder around the Pacific Northwest looking for ordinary but interesting everyday objects, scenes, and places of interest. I am currently located in the beautiful community of Poulsbo, located on the Kitsap Peninsula of Washington State. The area is bordered by the Olympic Peninsula and Mountains on one side and the Puget Sound and Seattle on the other side. This location provides an abundance of photographic opportunity. As a result, this, along with Eastern Washington, where I grew up, is where most of my Walkabout photography time is spent. The two quotes below summarize my feelings about photography: ...
