I came across this old abandoned farmhouse while exploring the gravel backroads of Lincoln County in Eastern Washington. Photo taken near the small town of Edwall.
This photograph brings back a lot of ancestral nostalgia. This old farmhouse is only a few miles from where my mother was raised and not far from where I was raised. As a child I used to stay with my grandparents on their farm and like the photo depicts it was in a remote farming area not too far from where this photo was taken - far from any towns or certainly cities. There are a lot of gravel backroads in Lincoln County (more than any other county in Washington State). Seeing these old farmhouses and barns still standing always brings me back to my roots.
