Snow and a beautiful pink sunset behind an old abandoned Eastern Washington farmhouse with a standing windmill added to the nostalgic and tranquil feel to the scene. Maybe I felt it more because I grew up near there.
(Jerry Kruger’s grandfather Rux built the house and Jerry’s mother and sisters lived there as did Jerry for a short time as a child. The house was located about two miles south of Rocklyn Washington)

In fact, Walkabout, probably best describes my style as I wonder around the Pacific Northwest looking for ordinary but interesting everyday objects, scenes, and places of interest. I am currently located in the beautiful community of Poulsbo, located on the Kitsap Peninsula of Washington State. The area is bordered by the Olympic Peninsula and Mountains on one side and the Puget Sound and Seattle on the other side. This location provides an abundance of photographic opportunity. As a result, this, along with Eastern Washington, where I grew up, is where most of my Walkabout photography time is spent. The two quotes below summarize my feelings about photography: ...
