Dimick Lighthouse built in 1990, is a private residence modeled on the 1906 Mukilteo Lighthouse. Beautifully landscaped with a white picket fence, it features a 50-foot tower with spiral stairs but has no functioning beacon. Mukilteo is a small city about 20 miles north of Seattle located on Puget Sound and is the location of the Mukilteo - Whidbey Island Ferry Terminal. The home overlooks the Port Townsend Marina and the southern entrance to Port Townsend. The Olympic Mountains provide the backdrop to this gorgeous Victorian Seaport.
I consider myself to be somewhat of a generalist as a photographer. In fact, Walkabout, probably best describes my style as I wonder around the Pacific Northwest looking for ordinary but interesting everyday objects, scenes, and places of interest. I am currently located in the beautiful community of Poulsbo, located on the Kitsap Peninsula of Washington State. The area is bordered by the Olympic Peninsula and Mountains on one side and the Puget Sound and Seattle on the other side. This location provides an abundance of photographic opportunity.
