The loan tree still stands amid the barren landscape of an abandoned wheat farm in rural Lincoln County in Eastern Washington. Old farmhouse, outbuildings and windmill are in the background. The twisted and bare tree limbs provide an interesting foreground for this black and white photo.
About Jerry Abbott
I consider myself to be somewhat of a generalist as a photographer. In fact, Walkabout, probably best describes my style as I wonder around the Pacific Northwest looking for ordinary but interesting everyday objects, scenes, and places of interest. I am currently located in the beautiful community of Poulsbo, located on the Kitsap Peninsula of Washington State. The area is bordered by the Olympic Peninsula and Mountains on one side and the Puget Sound and Seattle on the other side. This location provides an abundance of photographic opportunity.
