Description
Took this photo on a beautiful fall day a couple years ago. In the background is Abbey Island and the sea stacks at Ruby Beach on the Olympic Peninsula. “It’s said that early settlers in the area thought the island looked like a cathedral so they named it “Abbey Island.” It’s an easy and beautiful hike to Ruby Beach which is along the rugged and beautiful Washington Coastline and Highway 101.
